Prologue: A thousand years ago, during the Age of Fire, the Drakenheart clan ruled over Eryndor, wielding the power of dragons as both allies and protectors. The strongest of these dragons was Pyrathos, the Flamebound, whose scales glowed like molten lava and whose breath could incinerate entire armies. However, a dark betrayal led to the Drakenheart clan’s downfall, and the dragons were sealed away in the mountain ranges known as the Dragonspine, cursed to sleep until the world called upon them again.
